Cool cool. I was just wondering who/where/when.
Most of my writting English comes from the British council though, I started out when I was 13 probably. Then I met my ex and English became the only way for me to communicate with him. Then well, you Americans brain washed me and they complain I speak American English, lol

haha well... we are just a bunch of rebels. ;)

That's pretty cool. Been speaking and writing both languages fluently for 8 years.

When you think to yourself (not speaking outloud) do you think in Spanish or English?

How about when you're listening to someone talk in English, do you translate it in your head to spanish because it's your first language?

My high school Spanish teachers grew up learning/speaking English as their first language, after they became fluent in spanish, both of them will think mostly in Spanish when someone talks to them in either language.

Most of the times I think in English, lol. Which is too bad because my Spanish is getting worse, lol. I also sometimes pray in English, haha, God must be confused.
And no, I don't traslate things to Spanish when I read them in English, I am actually a bad traslator, to be honest. It's not an effort for me to talk in English, not more than talking in Spanish.

That's awesome.

They say that English is one of the hardest languages to learn, how long was it until you felt you were fairly fluent in it?

When I was a teen I used to traslate all songs to Spanish, which helped me learn the language a little better doing something I enjoyed. I think when you really like a language is not so hard to learn it. I think English is very easy when it comes to grammar (a lot easier than Spanish or German). The only difficoult thing, and special for spaniards is the pronunciation and the accent (specially for a spaniard). But if you like the language, it should be easier. I think it became my second language when I was 16. Since then it only got better.

I kind of agree with you. It was very difficult to conjugate spanish verbs when we got into the past and future tense for me. Present tense conjugation was simple though. I could never keep them straight. lol
