June 24th. I had a decent dinner out w/ friends, followed by the pool hall and some ice cream on that Friday night, but then my beer was stolen out of my fridge. Camping trip for the next day got cancelled, as did every other plan I had for that weekend, and my dad forgot to even call and tell me Happy Birthday. Oh, and I got into an argument w/ a close friend and stayed upset the entire weekend. I spent my birthday night crying on V's shoulder over it. Fan-fucking-tastic, I tell ya.

I did have a do-over a few months ago and it was much better. I love my friends dearly, but unfortunately the usual is that I'm more concerned about doing something for their birthdays than they are about doing something for mine. Wow, that sounded super whiny, LOL

I know exactly what you're saying...I feel the same way a lot of times.

Yeah I agree, it's about time for the 6 month do over .

Jealous, I'd love to see The Nutcracker this year. I'm going to be in the city Tuesday/Wednesday afternoon....it's playing Monday night and Wednesday night, I miss it.

We've gone every year (well, we've missed 1 here and there) for the past 15 years or so. I love the whole night b/c we always do dinner before and Starbucks after. Last time we went, it actually started snowing on our way there. *sigh*

I'll do my best to have fun. I think I will.
