good for you. :)

How far do you run? I want to get back into it...it's been almost 2 years since I bailed on my routine. :(

its supposed to be rather nice today? (not the icky muggy we had the past few days)
but good for you on the running bit!

I think it's still supposed to be in the '80s today, so not as bad as it has been, but still hot enough that I wanted to run earlier in the morning. It was about 70 degrees out when I went, which is how I like it - I want to work up a good sweat, but not be at risk of overheating. :)

Not very far... last summer I took it up for the first time ever - before that, the only running I had ever done was mandatory laps and sprints for sports in high school, haha. But when I started my job in September, it set me back a lot, so I've only run maybe a dozen times since then. Today I "ran" about 1.5 miles (quotation marks because I walked about .5 mile of it).

That's great - you got your ass out of bed on a SUNDAY to exercise, hell, that's awesome. :)

Look at any other places since the one in Watertown?

We looked at 2 yesterday, one in Watertown and another in Auburndale. The first one wasn't that great - a REALLY old house that needed a lot of work. The one in Auburndale had a FANTASTIC location (right near the 95/90 ramps) but had a really bad layout + a small and disjointed kitchen. We're going to 5 or 6 open houses today though! :)

Good luck with the hunt today...looking forward to hear how it went.

I'd HATE a small kitchen, that's the one point I'm picky on. Everyone gathers in the kitchen so I need room to move/cook AND socialize.

Sounds like the first place is looking better and better. :)

I definitely agree! At the very least, I want an open kitchen so that if guests are in the living area, conversation can still flow from the kitchen out.

It really is! And each place we look at that is a dud, gets BF closer to agreeing, LOL!

we threw him some work this week (we need a new roof) so he'll be on that this week (or when he gets the permit) and he dis help us with our basement and its flooding....sometimes I wonder where we would be without him

It's so great to have someone like that in the family. I have a few I can call on, it certainly cuts down on costs.

for sure and especially in this economy when people are putting off renovations, any work he will be glad to have. although I worked for him last summer and he had a person who owned multiple properties in the greater Boston area that needed fixing up, and the like, so he is always busy...

My brother does wood flooring and tiling for a living and is well known around here as one of the best...but he's not talking to me, so I guess I won't be asking him to help me out any time soon. :p

I slept 8 hours 30 mins last night and another hour and a bit this afternoon. I'll stick with going to bed early.

Ohhhh ok, might be a good idea. :) You must have been exhausted if you slept that much. I can't wait to hit my bed home and do the same.

I hate to say it's not unusual for me to sleep like that. Sometimes I sleep 10-12 hours and still sleep in the afternoon. I think I might have to see about it if it doesnt improve.
