Ohhhh he's asking my opinion but going ahead and doing shit anyway. I know he thinks he's being helpful - he wants to have it all sorted for when I get home, but I want to set the house up the way I want it...he's planning on where to put the tvs and the stereo and work everything around that...ummm...I'm gonna scream. Being 6,000kms away sucks.

In Watertown. It's in a house that's been set up more like 2 townhomes than condos - the units are side by side, and each has its own driveway. The backyard is shared, but it's a good size, has a nice fence & landscaping. It's a 3 bedroom place (most we've been considering in our price range are only 2), and the basement is finished! The kitchen is upgraded & has really nice appliances. My only issue is that it's only got 1 bathroom that is kind of small - but somewhere down the line we could consider adding another in the basement. It just seems to tick all of the right boxes! It's about $9,000 over what we want to spend, but it's also been on the market at that price for 5 months, so we're thinking there might be some wiggle-room with the price.

Trying to not get too attached since we're scheduled to look at 2 other properties tomorrow, and have a good 4-5 more on our list of possibilities. But they're suggesting that interest rates might take another drop soon... so I'm getting kind of eager LOL

Sounds great...just make sure you'll be allowed to add another bathroom. I know the condo rules here are pretty strict with things like that.

I'm excited for you...I'd be a nervous wreck, lol.
