Did you try it.. as long as it tastes ok.. you can work from there on technique of everything else hun.
That's great then..Oh yeah it tastes really nice! I'm hoping it'll turn out better next time.

I have never tried making bread.. other than in mom's bread maker.. Might be something for me to try one of these days I am bored..
I don't have a breadmaker, it was all by hand.
I think I added slightly too much water. The dough was really wet and no matter how I mixed it, it wouldn't come together in a ball like the instructions said. I added flour to try and counter the wetness but it had no effect! I was adding so much flour and it wasn't making it any less wet so in the end I gave up and attempted to knead it (went awful, just stuck to my hands and the kitchen side). In the end I attempted to shape it and just left it to rise then baked it.
So much mess though. I've given the kitchen side and floor several cleans but the dough stuck like glue and wouldn't get off. I think it's finally cleaned now though.
You are a brave woman! And that sounds like a really big mess. I am sorry it didn't work right for you.
Next time I am sure it will be better!
I would have to find a recipe for the elevation I am at.. cuz I know my biscuit recipe makes hockey pucks here..
Oh it's all a learning process!I'm going to try with a slightly different recipe next time. I've got several bread recipes and they all use different amounts of water. I've learnt my lesson to add the water slowly though. I never ever want to see a wet bread dough again.
I'm waiting for my scales to arrive (Zorak ordered them as an anniversary gift) then tomorrow I'm going to make muffins. Hopefully it'll just be plain sailing![]()
