Everyone is gone from work so I get the PC for the next little while. Things are going okay. I miss the kids for the next 4 days though .

Aww.. I would love the opportunity to miss my son.. Being a stay at home mom has it's draw backs sometimes...

I am a stay at home dad for 1/2 the month. Anyone that is a stay at home parent full time I bow (sp?) to you.

It's not easy but it's best for him.... And with the schedules everyone keeps around here it works best.

For sure. I agree. It is tough though. Just that riggers (my spelling is sooo of today it is crazy) of doing the daily things is enough to keep you busy. I always try and keep my kids occupied with activity. They only watch tv for an hour before nap time (Tree house) and before bed (they watch music videos haha). Why am I using brackets so much as well ? I forgot my reading glasses today as well...

It reward too when they figure out something for the first time and you are there to watch it.

And Liam when he's not biting or slapping or pinching will come running over and throw his arms around my neck and go love you mommy or you beautiful.. This times I pretty much surrender all power LOL.

The TV here is on but most of the time he's not even in the living room with it. I turn it to something I want to see.

And I have learned that spending money on toys at his age is pointless... they play with the plastic spoon that came with the take out or the box that the new microwave came in.. LOL.

My hubby when he is home doesn't do much of anything with our son so it's usually all on me.

Jeez thats to bad. He is going to regret that late in life. Your right about the toys. We get a bag of them of kijiji.ca for like 20 bucks then there good. Never buy new. Also it is really easier with two kids. My son plays with my daughter alot. There like best friends right now.

Yes he will and considering he's already an older man.. It's shame on him..

With Liam's I will by new.. just cuz it's what his father wants.

Like I said for a garbage bag of toys it's 20 bones. You can get a new toy for that ! That is awful about your husband. I hope he relizes this. Man I feel bad for Liam.

Yeah I do too.. Liam only gets new toys on his birthday or Christmas or Easter.. that kinda thing and not usually from me..

He loves to "colour" so I have been getting him sketch pads..

As for my hubby it's 56 and acts like he's 16 for the most part..

Well it is never to late to change. Everyone can always learn.

He's been like this for the 10 + years I have known him....... It's actually why I liked him to begin with ...

Considering I have grown up a lot since I met him.. I think it's what drives me batty now.. I grew up so why the hell can't he.

The best things to to honestly is to just tell him how you feel. Lay it out there. Get on the ship or this ship might start its engines.

Oh get this when I try to have a serious talk with him he calls me childish.. ... it's another reason I can't talk to him anymore.

Sounds like you guys have some issues there that need to be resolved. Have you tried to talk to him about this over dinner some where ? Just explain to him that it mean alot to you. It is the most important thing on your mind. You need to talk to him. Be civil and make your points. If he is not willing to listen to you then I dunno what to say.

I have talked till I am blue in the face..

We had a long conversation before I came back out here.. and I thought we had come to some kind of mutual understanding.. but from what is going on of late.. that is not the case.
