I meant to take a shot at making watermelon wine this year but never got around to it
I thought that was just a corny song...."Old dogs and children...and watermelon wine".
I've put vodka into a watermelon before...thats pretty damn good
I have strained the juice from watermelon before to see how it tasted...was pretty good..should make some good wine
:willy_nilly: I remember those days my brother did that stuff. Left it in for one week once for a sportin event ( Superbowl ).. Oddly enough I do and it was one of the few times I puked along with the others that drank the mix and was sick for 3 days..

Maybe it was bad melon
it would have to be after a week...
I think so too..since the melon had to have had a whole in it to get the vodka inside..thus began to spoil..the vodka camouflaged the spoiled taste and smell.
Just reading all that makes me wanna puke.
