I never had a chance to sleep in class, all the teachers are way too attentive. Never seen/heard of anyone I know sleeping in class either. Is it actually common over in the US?

well most of my classmates don't, but sometimes I sneak naps when we're watching a movie or something when the teacher isn't teaching class

I'm not sure if it's common, but I still see kids nap

Teachers don't really care. I understand everything they are lecturing about, especially in math where I've been self-taught all year. It depends on the class. In most classes teachers care, in most they just mark you down in participation, very few actually try and wake you up; unless if something important is happening. Some teachers don't care at all and won't mark you down, like in my math class.
