I really like my glasses on me, but it never fails if I wear them to the hospital for work I am going to somehow manage to be punched or kicked in the face or have something happen that results in damage to them. >.<

I tried contacts one time long long ago and I hated them. It took me forever to get them in and forever to get them out. I have grown to love my glasses.

I have to wear glasses, being short-sighted, but I don't always, except for school/uni, work, catching public transport, laptop or TV.
