So does this mean that, at the hospital, you work to help people with breathing problems even though they may have other issues?

Or are you specific to wards with patients that explicitly have breathing issues?

yup. like tonight i'm currently sitting on my toosh in the intensive care unit, just waiting for something to happen. a lot of our patients have a number of problems, mainly renal or cardiac, on top of pulmonary.

My youngest daughter has spent time in hospital for her asthma (her and I spent Christmas Day and the 26th in hospital in 2000) and then again for a week when she had her appendectomy.

I think it's incredible the job and the patience people show in there.

yes, that's mainly what we are here for. sorry, i misread your question! i'm very sorry to hear about your daughter; i hope she's okay now! i have asthma too, so i can fully relate. it's no fun!

i've seen some people that aren't VIP with a custom title though. so i don't know. LOL.
