I gotten over it. I'm glad I did as well. :D

The two men I was with were so similiar to each other but my mistake was not having closure to both of them, but the timing was right for me to heal those wounds after a month being with my bf. He was so supportive and patient during that time and is very proud of how brave I was to pour out every emotion I could out on that night when we talked. :D I felt ashamed mostly and I felt like I didn't deserve happiness or love... I was single for quite awhile as well and during that time I gained my self confidence back and gained my strength back while gaining more wisdom, so I take it as a learning experience and everyone makes mistakes. My dark spot has been that.

I think I am currently in the place you were at. I haven't been with a man beyond a single date for over 5 months.

I think it took me 6 months of just being completely off men before I even started to flirt again or be more friendly to men. It's great to have that time alone and grow. I changed a lot during that time. You'll have a better eye out for men and know what you want more while not wanting to change yourself for the person but have them being a part of your life while you don't sacrifice yourself.

The first married man was the very overbearing, controlling type and jealous. He said he was 32, he ended up being in his mid to late 40's with a teen daughter he hardly mentioned. I knew I was the other woman but I was blinded in love with a very low self esteem when I met him, we argued every week where I ended up being the bad person all the time and I felt like I was doing a crappy job where I always apologized and I couldn't have enough courage to end it, I feel for any woman who felt like that, it's total shit. :(
