damn poor bay today fell 3 times and cracked her head....her stubborn ass wanted to walk down stairs like an adult for one of em and my mom wasnt quick enough....luckily it was only one stair but then crack on the bench.

I wouldn't worry, babies are harder than you think. My parents seriously didn't believe that I would live beyond my first birthday. When I first learnt to crawl I got into the brick yard next door and they found be crawling about on a big pile of bricks!

I don't really think that kids are getting worse, it's just that there are far more dangers than when we were kids. I used to play over the park on my own from when I was 5 years old but there are too many sickos around these days for that to happen now. Plus kids get exposed to a lot more stuff earlier and earlier these days. When I was at school there were no fences around it and the worst drugs I got exposed to were a few cigarettes and a bit of booze at Christmas. I reckon it must be much more worrying to be a parent today.
yeah...i try not to think about that with her....all i can do is raise her the best i can...and hope she turns out ok
