Just wondering.

A guy I grew up with owns 5 Dodge 3500's and a 40ft and 60ft float for each, they stay running 24-7 in the hot shot business, and now he wants me to front him some dough for a couple Big-uns

For a cut of the profit of course, it's big business here with the oilfield being as active as it always is.

We can basically keep two 18 wheelers booked solid.

The oil feild is where its at right now... that and the gas wells springing up everywhere. I have a offer to run for a oil feild down in Ft. Worth but that shits not for me. I'm a glamour trucker... :D gotta stay clean and shiney.. its a OCD thing...

Sheesh mang, this guy has the cleanest fleet in the field, his care for his vehicles is what he damands from all his drivers, and that's why he gets all the choice work.

Which is why I trust to front him dough on the bigguns.

As long as the trucks are spec'ed right and you keep on top of the maintenance... they will last forever. I mean.. sometimes its a crap shoot cause a motor can go at anytime no matter the mileage. Just part of it. I've seen them last 1.5 million miles with hardly any maintenance and as low as 300,000 and some change while being maticulously cared for. If you front the $$$ make sure he goes LLC... its really easy to lose it all with just one accident in a big truck.. damn sue happy people.. :mad
