It always tells me I have to be social and spread my rep around. :madWhat'd you do...use all your rep up from rep day over the weekend?
Yeah, I get that same message too; it's very frustrating, I agree! It always tells me I have to be social and spread my rep around. :mad
I'm still here, Serena
Gotta be up early tomorrow, eh?
That sure is pretty early! So, what's on task for tomorrow then? I start work at 7:00am.
LOL, that's an interesting way to put itThe same thing as everyday. TO TRY AND TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!! :willy_nilly::willy_nilly::willy_nilly:
Muahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... :ninja
:eekHere is a conversation between me and my co-worker that we had yesterday. I was walking back to the barn and he was looking at a mare that is getting close to foaling.
Graeme: Hey, Serena! Come look, Arietta is waxed up!
Me: Yeah, I saw that before
Graeme: So I said that right? She's waxed up?
Me (laughing): Yes, that's right
Graeme: So the next step is the sack?
Me: :24:
Carter was feeding hay in the next paddock and he turns around with a :wtf:look on his face. It was good times! :24:
 It IS fun. There are five of us who work there and we have a good comaraderie. Well, four of us do. :ninja:eek
You're job sounds fun :24:

Aw that sucks.Ummm..... Not really sure about all that technical lingo on Arietta's waxing and sacking....
.... but I can tell you a story.
I have a friend who knows a guy who raises cows. For slaughter and for 4H. We stopped in one day to see if we could catch a cow giving birth. The barns are enormous and clean. He keeps the 4H cows separate from the others. He was explaining all this when we came to the stall where the cow was laboring.
I was shocked. The sack was partially protruding from the cow. We were being quiet and all..... but you could tell she was not happy by us being in the vicinity. The sack went back in somewhat and I felt just awful watching. Eventually, I insisted we leave because even the owner knew something wasn't right.
This story has a unhappy ending. Don't read further if you can't stand unhappy endings.
Anywho..... my friend called to tell me that the calf was finally delivered...... but the cow had to be put down. She was all messed up. I hope never to see that again.![]()
Pfft! Pack up the family and do a road trip out my way!If I didn't have kids...:ninja
Aw that sucks.I love watching mares foal. It's just so cool! It's no fun when things go wrong, though. So far, I've been lucky enough to have never witnessed a fatality.
Oh! I should also add that sacking is not a technical term. Using it as a verb is a Graeme thing, LOL!
