Hummm, probably not my cup of tea, as there are genuine medical conditions that create those problems for people.
It was a big thing years ago, to have in the fairs, 'freaks' as they were called. Many disabled people ended up going through complete misery in those days. Really sad and beyond belief really.
They were very wrongly labelled freaks too, but that's how ignorant things were back then.

The thing with the movie is that the "freaks" were honest people who cared about each other. The "normal" people tried to kill one of the little people for money. It's all about what should matter most, what's on the inside and not on the outside.
Aha, right - well that sounds a bit better then. I just get so upset at the films that have ppl in, who were mistreated through no fault of their own. Not to feel sorry for ppl (they wouldn't want that anyhow), but cos it is morally wrong.
A film about what matters with disabled ppl, is a good thing.
I thought you meant a film where it went on in the old days fairs. Didn't look at the link, as am a bit tired now.
They are part of a sideshow but the focus of the movie is about the "normal" people think they can get away with things because their victims are "freaks."
Hummm, don't think I could watch that then after all - dunno. :confused
Reminds me of the freaks at the fair. Like the bearded lady, snake woman, etc.
