Hey... as most of you know I just purchased a laptop. I got the basic package which included twin 256mb ram for a total of 512. I'd like to end up grabbing myself a gig of ram. My question is do I need to grab two 512 sticks or can I get a single gig stick to work?

Also with this being a brand new Dell laptop, what kind do I need? pc100?

I figured as much because of how it came with twin 256 sticks... but my desktop has a single gig stick in it. Weird, huh?

I know my old desktop had a single 256 in it, then I went and bought another 256 for it, so I had twin sticks.
