I have a rotten chest cold from the bloody weather.....40 degree heat one day, then 20 degrees and rainy the next does not bode well. Especially sitting in aircon all day.

Ohhhh! That happens there? It does here too. Every fall and spring I deal with the same kind of thing with my kids. ARGHHHHHHHH!!

I don't like A/C for that reason, but it's necessary. :(

If I had family down there, I'd be sending them to him for sure! :)

Thanks Fred! :)

For 6 more months. *sigh*

How's the little one doing? :)

Good! We went out to breakfast with friends this morning and she ate what was on her plate plus the rest of what I had, came home, had lunch and a snack then went down. She's up and ravenous now.

Tonight is her father's last night here before he leaves for Malaysia so we will have an early birthday party for him. He and his girlfriend will be back around Christmas time.

And speaking of weather....it is blistering hot in Malaysia. :D

That sounds like fun! I bet she is getting ready to go through a growth spurt. They eat like mad, then slow way down and sleep and grow! :)

Oh wow! What a lot of traveling! That's great to have a party for him! :) Mia should like that, huh?

Oh my! Blistering? He'll have a change to deal with!

Oh he'll live. He hates the weather out here. He's not happy about having to come back for Christmas but Mia won't be able to travel yet. We (meaning ME) caught a break there muchcaha!

Yup I think Mia is growing up. Does not fit in many of her clothes now. A few weeks ago she did. She looks like a midget version of the Incredible Hulk in some of the stuff. :D

Ohhhhhhhh you sure did catch a break! That's a long way to travel. A second, though lesser, benefit of her surgery! :)

:24::24: "Midget Incredible Hulk" :24:

I'm familiar with that look as my kids would just get up one morning and nothing would fit! :)

I remember traveling with her from here to Malaysia when she was three months old. By myself and I was still breastfeeding her. Left on Christmas Day last year between two massive storm fronts and just made it to LAX. If I got caught in Denver..it would have been 4 days before the next flight to Malaysia. Trundling around with luggage, baby bag and baby was tough enough. Being in limbo would have been awful. Especially when you have a 22 hour flight to look forward to.

But more important than that, it's hard on children. When we got back from over there it took Mia weeks to get used to the flip flop time.

I'm glad you got lucky and made the window! That would have been terrible to be stuck for four days.

Yeah, that long of a trip, especially during the holidays is no picnic with kiddies! That time change would be brutal on a child! So she's lucky this year! :)
