R.I.P. Richard Winters

Any of you who have seen Band of Brothers will know who he is. He died on the 2nd but the news only broke yesterday as it was his wish to have a private funeral. R.I.P. A great soldier.

I saw that news as well. I've read his books, too, and he was a hugely inspirational man. He lived a long and full life.

I'm thinking since I'm snowed in the house today with no work, rewatching Band of Brothers might be a helluva good way to remember one amazing man.
