Well, there always seems to be a reasonable volume of questions about gas prices, crude oil, refining and exploration and production.

Not that I am the "official" authority on the above subjects.....But I know a little. So ask away, you can be specific as you wish, however if your answer requires proprietary or confidential information, than of course I will answer with "Confidential".

Simple as that, no I won't tell you for whom I work, but I will answer just about anything I cannot barring any legalities.

Most of that has to do with suppliers. Honestly, gas stations are always buying from different suppliers, no matter what is on the sign.

That and market price when orders are made affects pricing at the pump as well.

This is the simple version :)

And now the US is starting to pay the price because of China.

Funny how that worked out... it was ok for us to be the top dogs on the oil market, but something tells me that we won't allow China to do the same thing we did... :dunno

All I know is I don't like it... something needs to be done about it.

They are getting oil from Russia, and I can feel a deal with Saudi coming on....They hate not being at the forefront of that game. Plus it's an evil strategy to keep us on our toes.

Hey Evan, is it true that you guys buy any new technology, like the 100mpg carburetor and keep it off the market so you can keep the Starbucks coffee free at the office?

Something tells me the US wont have a choice in the matter. They couldn't do anything to China through military action. And if the US tried to hurt China economically, that would backfire.
