Because obviously an internet connection is all anyone needs to fully understand someone else's spiritual beliefs far better than they themselves do
To address the idea that the answer should either be yes or no - how the hell are we supposed to know? The fact that there can even be two different options suggests that belief in a creator is entirely circumstantial and not based on hard, cold fact but rather the individuals conclusions from their personal experiences.
I personally believe exactly that - it is not possible for anyone to know 100% for certain whether there is or isn't a creator. I have my own personal ideas within that, like if there is one, I don't believe it cares about our lives on a one-on-one basis, but at the heart of my beliefs is a big sign saying 'I'll be damned if there's any good evidence either way yet'.
