question for the females

got to talking to one of my friends today. which is a female.

she said woman think a single rose is more romantic then a dozen. do you woman find this correct or is this just a matter of opinion.

That's how I see it. A dozen roses is something I get from dad, a single rose is something I get from my boyfriend and it says there is only you.

I think that my wife much more prefers a single rose than a dozen. There is a pact that her and I made when we got married and that is simply this. When one of us gets upset or mad at the other we are to take a rose and leave it at a certain spot to let the other know that we love them. I myself have left several as she has too. The only problem to this is the place we decided to leave the rose is at the stables where our horses are. She doesn't find my roses as I am sure the horses have eaten them as all you can find is the stems.

Actually, I prefer a Lilly to a rose. There's something so romantic and dramatic about Lillies. But if I had to have roses, one would do more than a thousand.

When my Dad was going to propose he sent 100 roses to her work and then planned a romantic night with roses all through the house, it is really how you give the rose. I think giving it in person one rose, but if it is a surprise type thing lots and lots!! =D It's flattering, sometimes embarrassing, but flattering!

I prefer potted plants or flowers. I don't like 'cut' flowers ... they die.
Nothing like telling a woman you love her by giving her something that is going to die in 5 days ... LOL!
