If I let all of my thoughts out, a. I would probably scare everyone away 2. the forum would close down from the overload and d. I would end up very lonely.

No. I took the day off to care for my lover boy. He fell yesterday. Ended up in the ER after all. Was there until well after 2 a.m.
Then the drive home was a real bitch. Sleet and snow and dark and I hated it.

He is in so much pain right now, even on all the damn meds. I may have to stay home tomorrow too if he can't do the basic things..... you know.... pee, pour a bowl of cereal.....

I know exactly what he's going through...

Did he herniate a disc of just bruise himself half to death?

I totally feel for him... Hell I am not back to normal yet and it's two weeks today.....

thankx..... yes... my bedside manner is always gracious.... he however has asked me to refrain from turning him on as the pain is unbearable right now.... and besides I'd have to do all the work.... lol.... that has never stopped me before... but alas he is moaning for a different reason now. So I shall abide his request and check my battery supply immediately..... :24:

The thing is... he already had herniated disks and muscle spasm issues.

I thought he had broken his back when I found him lying on the ground in the snow.

I do not want to ever go through that again. I am sure I lost a few years from the scare.

The hospital was worried about internal injuries as well. All is well as far as the xrays revealed.

I mean.... he very well may have pulled the back muscles and being tense only aggravates the disks more. They gave him some pretty nice meds though.

Once you screw up your back it becomes easier to hurt yourself more and more...

I know Jim looked like he aged 10 years the day he came home from work and found me on the couch screaming in pain...

Jim even said I looked a lot older too... ... But now he says I look great.. what a bleeding suck up eh?!

That's good that he didn't do himself much more damage.

At least he can have Xrays... they Drs for me had to go with the old ones I had nearly 4 years ago and then use their hands to feel my spine...:thumbdown That hurts btw....

And being able to go pee by yourself is something that is always a beautiful thing....

Oh man I know how your hubby feels I am not that far off still... I normally heal a lot faster but with Liam I think it's taking it's toll!
