Saw it on the news today and was curious if anyone here has given a Push Present or been given a Push Present.

You might be wondering what it is..... when a woman gives birth, her hubby or significant other gives her a present for having the baby.

I got an episiotomy! :cool

...... along with flowers.

It's happening more and more here. The expectation seems to be jewelry.

Each time I gave birth, I got a baby for the effort

I just heard about it myself about a month ago from the neighbor. Yeah, all i go was stitches where stitches should never be! LoL

I heard about it last week. We have a "Mother Child" collection and the manager said they were generally "push presents".

Zorak got me a CD for giving birth. But only because he wouldn't get me flowers.

I got a metric fuckton of support, and really...that was good enough for me.

I did get lots of flowers and balloons and stuffed animals from other people, though. And clothes since she was premature and nothing fit...lol
