So sorry to hear that, some kids are little bastards! When I was at school I ended up being off with concussion for 6 weeks because I got hit by some kid when I resisted him trying to steal my money. The bad thing was that he didn't even get punished because the headmaster said he was sorry!:mad What did your son get hit over? I hope he gets better soon!:(

Hi Peter and thanks lovie.

My son got hit for no reason, so it came out of nowhere and stunned my son to say the least.

The whole thing about this though, is that the other boy has one of my son's medical conditions, so that's why he didn't want the other boy punished. It is such an impulsive condition, so he could relate to the other boy.

I think the school told him off though and apparently my son and the other boy were amicable afterwards. That was before the symptoms occurred of the concussion.

My son still feels the same though - he's not pressing it any further. He would prefer to just get better and carry on. :)

He is a tough little thing and will be fine.

He gets spoilt a bit more too, so he'll enjoy that!!! Lol :D

I HOPE HE IS OK!!! Thinking of you!

Xx

I hope he's better soon and he's certainly a son to be proud of.

Ah, thank you Livvy and Cruisin too. :)

That's very kind of you both and much appreciated.

He most certainly is a son to be very proud of - he amazes me how he deals with all he has going on every day as it is, let alone when he is fair-minded after someone has hit him. He does deal with it all though and he is the best thing ever in my life. :)

Well he's a lot more understanding and compassionate than me! At least it will save him further trouble with kids when he goes back though.:)

He's feeling a bit better now - starting to perk up a bit now, thankfully!

Thanks to you all, my lovely friends here - you are great. :)

I'm glad your kid is feeling better. Suzie has told me about this story and right away I felt bad for you and your son. Stuff like that shouldn't happen, but it does. You have to stay strong and move forward. I'm sure he'll be fine and he will forget about it soon if he hasn't already forgotten about it. You know how kids are, they live IN THE MOMENT, not in the past. Have a good day!

Ah, thanks Johnny.

Unfortunately, yes it does happen.

I am a lot better about things today as I have my next move on the school in mind, as to where to go next and you are right - he is ok about what happened. He is still very quiet, but he will be fine. He is one to not live in the past, as you say and I like to move on from bad moments too, so we will do OK.
Thanks. :)

Well, my little bundle of joy is fine now - he is tired, but I think it's more to do with the fact he sneaked up his DVD player last night, when I fell asleep, bless him lol :D

He was a lot better by yesterday late afternoon.

I was shattered though and fell asleep last night, early, hence not being here last night.

Anyway, thank you for those lovely messages to wish him better. Much appreciated by both of us.:)

Aww, thanks Haus and Audra - he is all good now thanks. I am just relieved and much happier today. :)

Just resting up more this weekend, as I am going to be busy with taking this further, to get the help he should be having.

He hasn't got learning difficulties, as he is ahead of himself academically in most subjects, by about 2 years, but he gets distracted, so he needs to be supported to get work completed and to stay calm.

Had he had this, then the other day wouldn't have happened, or all the other times he has been hit, punched and had his head cut open and more. This is partly why I do not appreciate bullying and because I have had to help a number of ppl through being bullied, some who felt suicidal. There's just no need for bullies.

Anyway, I am more relaxed now knowing what my next move is. I do not ever give up til I have tried all I can. :)
