Honesty this country is such a cluster fuck. We have had weeks of on and off strikes and of course it all flares up again yesterday.

Today I am supposed to get the train to Paris for my flight to NZ, but the trains aren't running. Luckily we have a car and refundable train tickets so we can drive to Paris and leave the car in the parking for 2 weeks but its such a shit. Brussels airport is shutting down too, its so cruel to do this shit over christmas time when people are trying to get home to their families. I know the point of a strike is to cause as much disruption as possible but come ON, not over christmas.

End rant.

Thanks guys, it's taken me a few days to get back to normal (it was very hard leaving my family and coming back to Brussels), but I'm feeling myself again.

Straight back into, have exams starting on the 16th which is scary considering I did not even TOUCH a book over my break, eek!

I've never really looked at NZ, what is the weather typically like? Do you have four seasons?

Also, overall, I've been good. The last week, not as much, but I'm sure I'll live. ;)

We have a nice climate in NZ, it doesn't get too cold in the winter, or TOO hot in the summer. But it can be very humid! Yes we have the four seasons...but we call Fall, Autumn :p

Why has your last week not been so good? :(

I did something to it yesterday I have no idea what.. but it's achy and hurts like hell to bend it..

Aww.. I find jet lag takes forever to get over.. and if I remember right they say it takes a day per timezone travelled... or something like that.
