Nope I don't, I believe the good psychic's are very good at reading people and letting them lead them to the answers their clients want to hear. Although I do dig me some Xfiles though :banana

I don't fully believe in them but humans don't use more than like 12% of their brain...and I've had dreams of things that happened later on and had dejavu (spelling ?) I have a pretty good memory of my dreams....I know a lot of people that are the same way...if humans can figure out how to tap into the rest of their brain I'm sure just about anything is possible

i challenge everything but with an initial optimisitc approach. i do NOT believe in phychics, however. i agree with joe that they can understand personalities and manipulate them in ways which favor both parties in a conversation. manipulation of those who are weaker isnt something i am a fan of, although i can easily manipulate situations in my favor if i know who im dealing with. otherwise, i judge on the physical characteristics of the party im conversing with and estimate a particular personality to match. then, i can set the game, play it the way i want, then bail when i feel.

but i hate the ability to manipulate others. it seems as if it is an unfair advantage...

but who knows? ive ehard stuff about identical twins... telekenisis...

Intuition, instinct could be called pyschic. Maternal twins feeling each ohters pain, also I knew a pair that said they can sometimes read each others thoughts. Ever have a deceased loved one visit you in your subconcious, ie: sleep or when your deep in thought? Cultists who use black magic or satanic rituals harness pyschic power.
I believe in Heaven and so there is a Hell. Psychic power and teleconisis are a part of this.

A foot note. These Psychics on t.V. and those who say they can predict the future are fakes. Evangellists who use so called healing powers from God to perform great miracles are fakes. Some one who actaully uses these powers is tapped into an enourmous power that uses them not them using it.

but phsycic powers are called the evil powers of hell in the bible

I dont recall that particular verse or passage in the bible. You could correct. But prophets having visions are psychic, how can that be evil?

it is in there, i dont remember where, but when i was younger and went to church, i remember going over it in sunday school. i dont go to church anymore though b/c i dont believe you should go to pay to generate money to relieve you of sins... i can have my own beliefs from the comfort of my own home.

I dont believe that the "feel" someone with the letter "S" is trying to talk to them. I think they are very good con men/women. People that are told what they want to hear are walking in expecting to hear something. How many of us have an "S" person, or a "T" person somewhere along the lines that has passed. THen you say...oh yeah...Aunt Susan. And he can read the way you talk about that person to say if that was a bad death, expected or whatever.

Although I was told the person I would marry would start with the same letter that my name starts with. Now...did I look for Chris....or did he just already exist???

::do do doooooo::

Thats suppossed to be suspense music....LoL!!!

i know of a lot of people at the church i used to go to all got divorced for cheating on their wives and shit then tried to compensate for their mistakes by paying a lot of money a week to the church at offering. either they were paying to get out of sins or they were trying to change their lives around- funny part is they went to church every week even when they were cheating on their wives...

i dont feel (personally) that one should have to contribute any income to a religious organization and it is fine to believe your beliefs at your own place, on your own time... i dont believe we should have a "holy day of worship" on sunday. it shuts down our economy for 1 day here in the town i live in (a mostly christian town) all the stores close...

i dont like the negative atmosphere at churches talking about how bad the wars are, how bad it is people are dieing, how bad our world is becoming, how many people are sinning, how the end of the world is coming... some of it is total BS and needs to occur for a world to work.

it is like the churches around here are using fear to change peoples' lives when, in fact, i hate the propaganda technique of fear to change or sway peoples' minds in any decision.

thats why i call it a business: they are providing a service (no pun intended, but hey, now that i think about it ... ) using a strong, yet strict marketing plan...

usually tho, i just dont bother with it, i just let it go... let those who believe believe, it is their choice... :dunno

Im only asking out of curiosity and because I want to understand more where your point of view is coming from, not because I want to start a religious debate or preach to you so dont take it as me judging you or anything like that. Were you raised in a home where you went to church every Sunday and on Wednsday or did you start to attend later in your teenage years with a friend or some other circumstances along those lines? Me personally, I was raised in a church home. My grandparents raised me and they both attended regularly (every Sunday morning and evening and Wednsday night). The people you are describing are hypocrites and they are in every church. You cant let them decide youre faith for you. You also cant judge an entire church over the acts of a few. I believe in god. Im not an active member of any church, nor have I been for a while now, so Im not trying to preach. I also believe that man has a tendency to need an explanation for everything that happens in life. So I think some groups tend to go overboard with thier religious beliefs. I think they try to use god and the bible to explain every aspect of thier life because they are afraid of the unexplained. I believe that the bible is the word of god but there are too many interpretations of what the word "means" out there. DAMN!!! I just realized that the topic was psycics and Im waaaayyy out in left field so Ima quit now. :D

when i was younger (from the time i was born until i was about 7-8) i went every sunday with my parents to a methodist church then wednesday nights to a baptist church with my grandparents. when i was 7-8 my parents divorced and i became real mature and smart real quick. i learned from my parents' mistakes and built my own Points of View about everything b/c my parents were so different that i was being taught to do different things and i didnt necessarily believe in either. i am religious and i have reasons why and i could probably convinve many of you how un-coincidental existence is without religion, but i myself am at work today and im home for lunch now- no time for debating.

i have developed my own religious, political, and economic values and beliefs from my own inquiry and persuits of understanding. i "raised" myself b/c i couldnt stand my parents trying to teach me that one of them was right and the other wrong all the time.

i am christian, republican, and understand the basics of our economy and how to change the market and manipulate consumers...
