Yeah so today I go to work...and only the mgr and asst mgr were there. I asked about where the other 2 girls were and they just told me "it didnt work out with them". They had both been there a few years. Anyways, Alicia, one of the girls that worked there had become buddies with me sort of at work. She came in to pick up her paycheck today and pulled me aside and told me "there's some phone numbers behind the cash register that I need, I am gonna call you here later and ask you for them but dont tell the managers". That kinda caught me off guard, I told her ok at the time, but I was NOT ok with that. Wahtever happened with her is none of my business and I don't wanna involve myself in that kinda drama. She called, and when she called I told the managers what she had asked for, and they tookt he phone from me and told her that she was wrong to bring me in the middle of it, and then they told me that I did the right thing, etc. Then they asked me if I wanted to work more, and work in sales. Our financial situation lately has been less than wonderful, so I told them yes. I get a 50 cent raise and 3% commission, and a hell of a lot more hours. So I should be making around $1000/mo at least now, most likely lots more considering it's prom season and I work at a dress shop. lol. The hours shouldn't be too bad, because I am only working 3pm-8pm on 2 school nights, and the rest of the time during the week I have off. Yay go me. Now I can pay for the freaking honeymoon!

i dunno why she wanted them. i think to call the owner and talk shit about the managers. The managers told me if she would have just called them and asked them they would have gladly given her the numbers. But I aint tryin to get into all that mess! And thanks guys! just hope i can keep up with the workouts and school and work. yay busy-ness.

we are going on a cruise with Royal Caribbean. We leave June 23rd and fly from houston to ft lauderdale, then we get on the boat and go to Georgetown, Grand Cayman, and then onto Ochos Rios, Jamaica. I am soooo excited. I have been on 2 cruises and they were the most kick ass vacations ever. We owe about $2300 on the balance of the trip, and that doesn't even count spending money. So yeah, I really need this money. My manager pulled me aside today and she was talking about wanting to get me $8/hr. She says I deserve more. I can't believe it. She is buttering me up like crazy lately, I don't get it. She REALLY likes me and I'm starting to wonder if I am that likeable or if shes just crazy lol. AND umm yeah I think this is officially overloading myself. I have low limits to how much stress I can handle...but it just has to be done, period. Basically I won't have a few hours of free time every day. More like a few hours a week now. But I need to get my ass into gear, I'm tired of being lazy. I am happier in general when I am busy. I still will ahve time to get my schoolwork done, its jsut all about prioritizing now. Yeah, so tomorrow, pilates 10:30-11:30, come home and shower, English class 1-2:30, leave straight from there for work and work 3-8. Not too bad eh? I have nothing but school on tuesdays nad thursdays, so those will be my relaxed days. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be busy work days for me. I think I can do it.

As for the stress, the first will be difficult, But I have no doubts that you will handle it all ultimatly in the end. You seem like the type who can take on challange and come out ahead for it.. Best of luck.

i really enjoy working there...so I am sure it won't be too bad. If I was waiting tables or anything again then FORGET IT. I love working for a small company as well, I feel more responsible for what I do and I know its a team effort (me and only 2 other employees) so I think that will keep me motivated!
