Ah, cool! Pretty things though I found they were a bit camera shy so I couldn't get too close. I took these with my 70-300mm lens.they're damoiselles,a member of the dragonfly species.....being from over there i'm not sure about the exact species though

Why not? I tend to use my flash as little as possible anyway but I'm curious.one thing though, with dragonflies and damoiselles dont be afraid to use the flash, but never use it on a damselfly

Haha, that's kind of cool. Now I want to try it. :ninjawell with dragons and damoiselles its fine to lighten them up and make the colours stand out,but with damsels they just turn white

If I saw a spider I'd shoot it too...with a shot gun! :willy_nilly:I was able to snag one via Craigslist that's like brand spank new, It's the same one Ian has. I'm keeping my eye open for a great deal on a 100mm and if I see one it will be mine.
If I see a spider I'm shooting it but I'll warn ya if I post it here.![]()
