Few rumour's and stories doing the rounds today.

- Arshavin looks to be heading out of Arsenal, Fenerbache are interested.

- Heading into Arsenal looks to be Chris Samba, Rhys Smith could be heading in the opposite direction.

- Man City's owner has told the fans not to expend major expenditure in the summer, as he feels the players there now are developing a winning mentality.

- They could though be heading for a summer clearout, with Emmanuel Adebayor, Michael Johnson, Wayne Bridge, Roque Santa Cruz, Felipe Caceido and others heading out.

- Adebayor to Real Madrid looks certain after previous target Fernando Llorente said he's happy at Athletic Bilbao.

- Former Man United striker Guiseppe Rossi looks certain to be going to Barcelona, in a swap deal with Bojan.

Last weekend of the season as respect of the Premier League, unfortunately some team won it I don't want to mention too often, lol.

A lot too look forward to next season, over optimism, I doubt it, since there are areas Liverpool really need to improve in, and stop being over reliant on one or two players, though I think Dalglish can do that easily, since he was in a team that never relied on one or two players

Thrilling final day in the Premier League. Blackpool and Birmingham both go down with defeats to Man United and Tottenham respectively. Wolves stay up despite a defeat to Blackburn at home, and Wigan beat Stoke 1-0 away to stay up.

I'd like to thank Blackpool for some fantastic football this season, the Premier League will be a poorer place for them not being there next season.

Alright geek time, stats from the just over season.

1063 goals were scored in the season, a new Premier League record.

With 20 goals each, Dimitar Berbatov and Carlos Tevez share the Golden Boot.

The biggest home win was a 6 goal margin, happened 4 times. Chelsea 6-0 West Brom, Arsenal 6-0 Blackpool, Newcastle 6-0 Aston Villa and Manchester United 7-1 Blackburn Rovers.

The biggest away win came in August, Chelsea beat Wigan 6-0 at the DW Stadium.

The highest scoring games had 8 goals in them. Again Manchester United 7-1 Blackburn Rovers, Everton 5-3 Blackpool and Newcastle 4-4 Arsenal.

Chelsea had the longest winnnig run, 5 games.

Manchester United had the longest unbeaten run of 24 games.

Stewart Downing scored the first goal of the season in Aston Villa's 3-0 win against West Ham on the opening day.

The fastest goal of the season was Maxi Rodriguez's goal for Liverpool against Fulham.
