O' Neill could of taken the job before Hodgson 'left'

Not really, the yanks want to get the scousers on their side. Since they're the "Peoples Owners." So they were only ever going to give the job in the short term to Kenny. Why do you think the appointment came so qucikly, followed by an announcement he'd be caretaker until the end of the season?

The real search begins at the end of the season. If Liverpool are still in the premiership...

It looks almost certain that O'Neill is going to West Ham.

Personally, I think he's mad. A number of managers have come and gone through West Ham, but nothing changes - they're always relegation candidates. They have no good players coming from the youth set up anymore, and they have a large bloated squad of mostly useless players. Any team that pays keiron dyer a wage had obviously got problems.

Entertaining 1-1 draw between Birmingham and Aston Villa just there, could have ended with a lot more goals.

I think Aston Villa could and should have won that in the end. (Down £5 from my bets)

Liverpool and Everton are drawing 1-1 right now, if it stays this way, I am up £28 :D

Hopefully Sunderland beat Newcastle 3-1 then I'm really quids in.

That finished 2 hours ago and ended 1-1.

I hate losing at betting. One time I had this International football accumulator and I was one result away from £70, then Kevin Kilbane scored an own goal for Bulgaria against Ireland, the bastard.

2-2 now in the Derby, Kuyt with a penalty.

rats. damn geordies\brummies\scousers.

My last chance rests with Man U beating spurs 3-0

I couldn't call it, so I went for something with a good pay out.

Manchester United have to hit top gear eventually I figure, and I also figure Spurs will be found out eventually.

But no, it was more of an impulse bet. lol

If we win it could be the catalyst for a great run. I mean we haven't been playing that well yet kept winning and winning, but we have been playing better than the media claims. Since the Aston Villa game where we came from 2 down we've improved a lot from the sloppiness of early season. But if we get that big win today it'll change the mindset. I mean even a draw isn't a disaster, we'd still go top, but winning would be excellent.
