all credit to united and ferguson, definately not the most talented or exciting side he's had,and not even the most talented in the premiership right now...but ferguson knows how to win football matches

and i bet rooney feels like a right twat right now

I think the winning mentality that's instilled at the club is what's mattered this season. Think of the games we've either won late or got something from. Everton at home, Aston Villa away, West Brom away, Bolton at home, Stoke away, it goes on. Yeah it's not our best ever side, but it's a damn good one which knows how to win. I also think Gareth Bale should give his footballer of the year award to Javier Hernandez, what a signing he's been.

Here's some predictions from the start of the season by the leading prick from Arsenal and a man we'd all like to punch, Piers Morgan.

MANCHESTER UNITED will miss a top-four position for the first time in decades. Putting aside my usual detestation of all things United, I actually believe this.

Lul.

TITLE WINNERS? Alas, I can't look further than Chelsea. Again. They have the biggest and best squad, and a team who have tasted a lot of success in recent years.

Nobody saw a midseason collapse coming. Though to be fair they mounted an end of season challenge.

REAL MADRID will win the Champions League.

Semi finalists

TOTTENHAM will have another very good season, but will tragically fall out of the top four on the very last day of the season after Jermain Defoe misses a penalty in the 93rd minute.

They didn't even wait till the last day to do it.

FABIO CAPELLO will resign or be sacked before next May.

He's leaving next June.

BLACKPOOL will be relegated, some time around January 5. Closely followed by West Brom on January 12.

Blackpool could still go down, but didn't do in January. West Brom comfortably stayed up.

MICK McCARTHY will be fired as manager of Wolves, and issue a statement saying: 'This was never about my ego. It was about doing what's best for Mick McCarthy. But hey, enough about Mick McCarthy, let's talk about Mick McCarthy.'

He's still in a job. Though Wolves might still go down.

LIVERPOOL will have a very good season under Roy Hodgson.

Judging by what he did with Fulham's fairly average squad, imagine what he's going to do with the likes of Gerrard and Torres.

He lasted half a season and Liverpool might barely make Europe. Gerrard's had an underpar season while Torres lasted just as long as Hodgson.

ARSENE WENGER will end his trophy drought. I know, I know, I'm biased. But I have been very impressed with the boss's close season activity.

The closest they came was the Carling Cup, and they bottled it.

He's also chucked out some dead wood at the back - Gallas, Campbell, Silvestre - and signed a superb defender in Laurent Koscielny to partner Vermaelen.

Superb?

And Vermaelen's been out all season.

talent wise theres probably 10 or 11 squads in the premiership better than liverpool......just goes to show what the right manager can do

Awwww, you have it in for me for "criticising" your photos, pffft..that must of been harsh on you :thumbup Remember silence is more of a criticism that critiquing your photos :thumbup:thumbup:thumbup:thumbup

no...what i say is a football observation, liverpool are a shadow of what they once were,,dalglish can only do so much with whats available,it'd take about £500m to get liverpool challenging again......i dont see you as a liverpool supporter anyway, you disowned them....peter would never disown west ham, never ever.....i would never disown coventry city, never ever.....zorak even puts his name to wycombe...if you follow a club you follow them whatever, whatever the circumstances....i know someone whos followed northampton all of his life, and he laughs at liverpool supporters, they left before the end

Did you read my last post on whether I supported Liverpool? I doubt it, I said I still supported them at heart, never disowned them, just the managerial side, when it later came to the front that the chairmen had gambled their money that was meant for investment in the club, on something stupid, then my angered turned towards them. Plus I kept posting about our results and how terrible they were (like any disgruntled fan). Btw, Peter knows that West Ham have no hope of winning a league title, though I do give credit to football fans that stick by their teams whether they are doing well or not.

Plus Dalglish inherited a team that was financed by the Hicks and Gillette calamity. Did we win the Champions League under Moores as chairman or Hicks and Gillette? Oh we won it under Moores as I remember

Anyway, the season is almost over, it started badly because even Hodgson knew that he couldn't manage a big club like Liverpool, why did he take it? Only he knows, but most Liverpool fans assume it was just so he could get his long term contract and destroy the club while being paid by the owners of the time
