Praise

I enjoy being praised for going above and beyond and I'm always recognizing others for their efforts too. I actually do awards for my team each month for the things they do that stood out. I really enjoying being able to do that for them.

I try to praise my employees in shift briefing when we have a big call or when I notice that they handled something extremely well. My trainee gave CPR instructions for the first time the other day and did an excellent job, so I mentioned it in briefing. Then Saturday another employee gave CPR instructions on a drowning victim and did a really good job, so I mentioned it in briefing the next day. On the REALLY big calls (officer involved shootings, homicides, serious accidents, etc) we write a letter of commendation to put in their p-file. It also gets posted on the bulletin board.

I like to praise people often. Even for a regular call because it is a confidence booster. Personallly i love to get praised but rarely am.

I enjoy praise but it should be given in a sincere manner. I praise people when I think they deserve it.

i don't know why but I haven't really praise people around me but I do appreciate them for all their kindness and love towards me

I give praise often b/c I think it's important for people to be recognized for the things they do. Oddly enough, it makes me a little uncomfortable to be praised, LOL

I don't like when people who annoy me praise me, but I appreciate being recognized and I like to recognize the work of others. Just seems like the right thing to do.
