Posting reps and PMs on the open forum

Sorry, I disagree. If you want to rheem another forum members ass out, do it in public. Say what you will about Doc, but my money is on the fact that he didn't go complaining to a moderator about what some of those people said to him. If you've got something bad to say, say it in public or don't say it at all.

And innocent people were caught in the crossfire. How is THAT right??? Either way...agree to disagree, that's fine...but stuff like this needs to be handled by PM in the future.

Fact is if you want to make derogatory comments about someone, have the balls to do so where everyone can see what you're saying and don't do it in "hiding", OR don't do it at all.

Not the point...and obviously I'm not doing a good job of explaining it. There are some personal things that I sometimes put in my reps to people that I trust. Thank GOD that I *can* trust them, b/c I would hate for something to be posted up on the forum for others to read when only a select few people know about it.

Some people are taking this forum to serious. Everyone should maybe take a step back and realize that rules are the rules. If you don't like someone then block them. Simple. Anything you want "hidden" on the internet should not be on a public forum. Or only shared with people that you trust. Saying someone is a coward for giving bad rep OR reporting it to a mod is ridiculous. Guys this is not REAL life. It is the internet. Slow it down and remember what you put out there can be used against you. You chose to share it. Though like Natasha stated that is the rules. So there are rules deal with them or complain to a mod .

For the record, nobody complained to the mods about the rep being posted. I just noticed that there were some reps that may have been personal to the other party that they didn't want shared w/ everybody else. It's not unreasonable to expect that, IMO, even if you keep in the back of your mind that it could be made public.

I had a talk with myselves and we are all cool again
I try to the keep the I can take anthing you verbally dish out attitude

Not that I take rejection bad, just that I think it's very childish of you to only accept PM's from certain people..

The problem is IMO too many people are thinned skin on internet forums, and for some reason, people tend to think that if they can't agree on something, they can't get along.

It's my opinion that some use the negative rep system to say shit to someone that they know would be a ban-able offense if they did it in public. It's their way of skirting the rules and being able to get away with it.

You use the word "and" like you're getting paid to. Fact is, I'm blunt talking, in pretty much everything in life, I'm rather passionaste and strong about it if I care. At the end of the dayt, what fucking difference does it make if I say cunt a lot?

I have my settings in a similar fashion - only to accept PMs and Visitor messages from folks on my contact list.

Although I daresay admin/mods override that setting for good reason.
