Now you're just kickin' me below the belt, I would kill to be able to drive any Vette whenever I want.
Yeah yeah, but you don't get a rush out of imports like you do with the old school cars. The big loug engine, the ability to ruin a set of brand new tires, and how could I not mention the complete lack of saftey.

off-road pipes, mufflers [gotta at least here the sirens trying to pull you over when they hear you], heads, cams, intake, gears, et cetera. they are still around. sure, we might not have carbs, but hell, we got fuel injection. which, if i recall correctly, is more tunable, thus, more chance for bigger power, which, by the way, means more big loud engine.
i could ruin a set of brand fucking new, just out of the plastic and on to my rims tires, with my stocker gt. not hard as you think.
safefy? heh heh... which just happens to be controlled by a computer... ill let you think about that.

Go find an Fbody site. You'll hear of problems left and right... just like you do on a Ford site.
Just because you don't hear of the problems doesn't mean they don't exist. Even imports have problems, but it's mostly due to the car being beat out of it's longevity.
I would love to hear your definition of import followed by the debate between import v. domestic.

and I also have a new car..but i have no pics of it yet. its what i drive to school and stuff, its not really new, its like a 2000 mercury sable..boring. My bf drives the SI, I don't touch standards lol.
Nice ride...my friend bought an SI, waited 8 months for it. He got delivery in June, and it was stolen from the dealership in November. They recovered it...but it will never be the same again.
V - in regards to the X5....BMW offers something like 48k scheduled maintenance included, so in theory, you aren't paying for oil changes. You can upgrade it to 72K (includes all scheduled maint. wiper blades, oil changes, brakes, belts, etc) just so you know. Most BMW owners don't keep their car long enough to worry bout oil changes. And if you don't mind the red light on the dash, you can do em yourself after the maint. expires.

The ForFour, ForMore, and Roadster are the ones that will be available here.
Beauty is all in the eye of the beholder...I personally love the SMART car and wish they could keep the original body style for the US.
