We used to have a bird...I cant remember the name but it was green. And it made soooooo much noise whenever we walked out of the room, went in the shower or went to bed it would go crazy. And the second it heard us get up in the AM. I miss him tho... I want another one. Those birds are expensive tho right?

she was $1000. We didn't pay for her, it was a christmas present from my parents. There are 2 types of african greys and she happened to be the more expensive one (Congo). We got her from a breeder, but if you go to a pet store they can run anywhere from $1300 on up to $2000.

there are certain noises that we're trying to break her of. But other than that, unless it pierces my ears, I learn to ignore it. I think it'll be better when she starts talking.

we had a HUGE one and we had to put bricks on top of his cage...he always seemed to get out anyway though..one night i felt him on my feet, i thought it was the cat and i kicked him off the bed...there was a thump and i sat straight up thinking "cats don't thump..." and i saw him there really pisssed off looking! ack!

I held a python once when I went to the Bahamas. I wasnt sure what to think of it... Im still not!

we have a top to the cage where it slides, so she can't get it open. Her old cage i had for her i had to put books on b/c she would push out..and she was just a tiny thing back then!
