Popular culture

If you ask me, the guy speaks really fast, but interesting points are raised nonetheless. I got tired of popular culture a while ago, it's so generic. All you see is the same stuff...girly pop stars, stupid shows like Glee with their abnormally high-pitched voices and crappy re-makes of everything.
I would have liked to post another ten minute video about the truth of popular culture but I don't think it was appropriate, it was pretty disturbing really.
It's annoying that even in a blackout, my mum would still say "Oh it's boring without the TV". I can think of so many things better than TV and its horrible stupidity.

I personally think people who watch Glee should be shot, but somehow it's a popular show. I watched five minutes of it and wanted to harm every one of them. People who like Justin Bieber really ought to be stones, but he's popular because he sounds like a whiny twat when he sings, and he's somehow became successful. I don't know how, he can't sing clearly.

consumerism will destroy the planet if it's not tamed.

Given the massive potential for variety in the human race there shouldn't even be "popular" culture.

Pop culture is a pile of shit.

Ah, yes, consumerism bad. Popularity bad. Let's all sit around eating home made crisps and watching Slovakian films on the dvd players we no longer need or want...

Excuse me if that's not my idea of heaven :24:

How could consumerism NOT be bad?

And I never said popularity was bad. I said popular culture was bad.

You don't have to head to Slovakia to get some decent stuff either. There's a MASSIVE world outside the mainstream bubble. In music, for example, pop music is probably about 1 or 2% of the musical spectrum.
