what do you mean "difficult to explain" condition? my car was in a wreck by previous owner and the front bumper isnt aligned perfectly, but usually, im the only one to notice.

if you have the money, or a job and means of making money, trick out the stang with some basic performance stuff.

hard tops are expensive... if the battery is dead, you'll need a new one to sell it. so get a new battery, if electrical is bad, you may need an alternator.

are any service lights on?

my voltage runs high at idle. it runs about 12.8-13.3 volts. but when running, it dies down some. when you turn off your car, make sure radio is off (basically anything power should be off before shutting down car) get a new battery and i bet it is your alternator.

it wont idle? do you mean the rpms are below 700, so it is barely running, or do you mean it wont run at all at idle?

edit: is it a stick or auto?
