Political season

I am so ready for this election to get behind us, regardless of winners & losers. My facebook newsfeed is barraged with friend's political ramblings & links to things they have read for or against a candidate. I will discuss politics but I do not feel a need to shout from the rooftop who I prefer. I do not put bumperstickers on my car or signs in my yard. I have a good friend who I somewhat offended when I refused to put his election sign in my yard. I do not do telephone surveys on politics either.

I am tired of phone calls too. I say I voted already by absentee ballot so save your spiel then hang up!

Ugh--I am also so ready for it to be over.

The calls and the needless fliers in the mail (we get seriously, like 5 every day!), everyday, for weeks now are getting old.

LOL I feel the same way. And now it's going to be going on longer, I assume, b/c of Sandy. I say I assume b/c I hate politics and I have avoided the news about the election as much as possible.

I don't do the phone calls either. Will be glad when it is over and we can worry about football and seasonal things.
