poem i wrote after my brothers passing

just thought id share

Ever screamed so loud and just heard silence?
Ever cried so hard and not felt a tear?
Ever carried a weight on your heart,
but lifted yourself up to live another day?
Each day, the feelings grow stronger,
knowing you're not here.
But I continue to live and wait
until the day I see you again.
The day you calm my voice.
The day you dry my tears.
The day you lift my spirits, surpassing all hardships.
The day I see you in Heaven.
