This is the best pizza around. Sciortino's in South Amboy, NJ. Thin crust and all homemade ingredients. The sauce is made to perfection and I have never tasted any other sauce like it.

See, that does nothing for my eyes. It just shares the same look as the bad pizza I've had here.
Cardboard, hunt's pizza sauce and grease :p

I'd be interested to try it, though, I believe when people say it tastes good lol.

Oh no! It's nothing like that. I have truly never tasted a pizza like it before. I consider NJ pizza's to be pretty good, especially boardwalk pizza, but the rest doesn't even come close to the taste of Sciortino's.

This is an older review but it still holds true...

Best news of all: The pizza is just as good. The first thing you notice is the sauce. The red stuff is usually the last thing you notice about a good pie. Crust, toppings, overall taste and freshness - these usually come first in any pizza lover's evaluation. But the sauce on Sciortino's pizzas boasts a fresh, homemade, tomatoey taste. Only one person makes the sauce - Mary Seminski, Lou's wife. She learned it from a family friend many years ago. "She won't let anyone see her make it," Lou Seminski said, laughing.

I hate it when people call pizza, "za"
I've heard it on multiple movies and I think people picked it from there and think its cool
But its not, its really really not

Funny, but I was thinking about that last night. I have only heard it once...and it was on an episode of Family Guy, LOL

I bet the ingredients are so much better, can't see myself ever getting around that area but I'd break my diet for a bit of NY/NJ pizza! Just one piece :p lol ya right!
