Yeah, goth and emo are different. Goth is.....I dunno how to explain it. Emo are those losers who are always suicidal, cut wrists, cry, hate life, see everything in grey, listen to emo music, etc...

You know what gets me? The fact that Goth came back. What the hell, man? We LIVED that shit in the 80s. Back when Robert Smith was GOD, and the only way you could get your hair that black was if yours was that color naturally (which, lucky for me, it was), or for you to sit in a salon for a couple hours amongst the old women chatting about their grandchildren.
So while you might think it's all cute and fuzzy to be goth...remember your forefathers (and mothers) before you who paved the way. Oh, and remember, too, that being goth in this day and age, you're just conforming to society...which was what we were all against.

uhm yeah Sim ur pretty much a prejudicial prick, how bout that. goths and emos are people too. and thinking that ur better than someone is worse than actually being someone you like to. i've had enough of this shit because i'm gay, and every time a person has a problem with that i just nail them in the face. i'm not trying to talk to them, cuz i know i won't change them.

I'm not a conformist. I dress this way and act this way because I choose to. I like the clothing, I like the music. It just so happens that what I do falls into the category of "goth". I don't even call myself that. I have people come up to me at school, "Oh, you look goth, are you goth?", so I just go with that.
And Hurt, I think we all dislike those cutters.

not speaking for all of us, but I know I do. No offense to any of you emus out there, I'm just voicing my opinion, which is something I will will be known for alot throughout this site in a while.
But I just don't see how people slice thierselves open and say it takes away pain. I'm going to experiment.
