I've always wanted to get my ears pierced. I had one pierced in HS but it had to come out because my lobes were too thick and it just sucked the earring through and made it infected. I'd have to have my "uncle" who does tattooing and piercings do them so they're gauged bigger than a normal piercing. My question is if it's a smaller gauge does the piercing hurt? if i wanted them done he said they'd be free. id prob just have to pay for the earrings....

My brother just got his ears gauged for his birthday in October. He said it really didn't hurt all that much at all. He's up to a 6 gauge at this point, now. We've been using the crescent moon shaped gauges to help stretch the holes. We just upped them this afternoon, and he said he hardly even felt it at all. But the kid has a high tolerance for pain. And I don't know if his receptors got messed up at all with his TBI.

Didnt hurt me, it was a quick sting and its over with, The labret was the worse, But i had a slushee right after which settled it down a little. The one in the cartlidge of my ear wasnt too bad at all i actually didnt feel it. Just remember if you get them done they are there for life. I had to take mine out when i started my job and i have a rather large hole just under my bottom lip lol its not that noticeble because my lip curves but its there LOL

Shouldn't hurt to bad to get your ears done. You'll just have to buy smaller gauges every week or so to put in and stretch the holes out (tee hee...stretch out your hole...tee hee).

And yes...I do mean SMALLER gauges...the lower the gauge the bigger the jewelry/needle/etc.
I don't want anything ridiculous. I just want "regular" piercing but Know I'd have to have them done by my uncle because the normal piercing didn't pan out. There was a dude who used to work at Bull moose (a New England record store) who had his ear so stretched out he used to use locks in his ears....

Ewww!!! I had an acquaintance that had his gauged out pretty big. When he finally took them out he was left w/ huge gaping holes in his ears and droopy lobes. You have to have surgery to get that shit back to normal. YUCK!!!

I had a friend in high school that wound up having to have his surgically taken care of because he had those huge gaping holes and they got infected. Gross. :yuk
