pictures hanging?

i went to the weirdest house today... it was a friend of my boss... she had NOOOOO pictures of family or friends anywhere... NOTHING was on the walls... it was so un-welcoming... weirdness... maybe its just me.... but it creeped me out. i have pictures everywhere i can find room, i'm obsessed with them!!

I had pictures up before we moved. But I only have a few on the walls now. Im waiting for John to find the time to actually hang them...cuz knowing me, I wouldnt be able to put it in the stud and it would fall out the minute after I hang it. I think its comfy to see family pics up...He needs to get to work!

We don't currently have any on the walls but we also don't have many to begin with. For awhile, in my parents' house, there was a picture on my brothers, sister, and I in the bathroom. It was just slightly creepy.

lol- my mom did that in the guest bathroom... it was my ex and i swimming underwater with dolphins...and one of my brother snorkeling (the bathoom had a beach type scene.... i guess)

but yeah, totally creeped me out

all of ours are little ones, kinda propped up in the little frames on tables around the house. when i go into a house with dozens of family pictures hanging everywhere, i get creeped out to be honest

well, i dont have all family photos... i have pics with friends and stuff...
but i have some artwork and some of my students work/drawings...


i dunno.. i like to see that stuff

We are remodeling our home, so we only have a couple of things hanging on the wall. I don't like clutter though, so even once the house is remodeled there will not be stuff hung everywhere and certainly not sitting on tables as that means more dusting. Less is more. LOL!

I never really used to have pictures of friends or family up apart from one of my girlfriend beside the bed. I prefer nice paintings, especially stuff by John Constable. When I got married the missus put up family pictures everywhere though, mainly of our wedding.

i still have pictures that i would like to get up...and some that i still need to put in a photo album from my honeymoon
