skyblue encouraged me to create a thread and display pics of my oil paintings. So here they are... there are more that I have displayed in an album on my user profile but these are my favorites!!!

I do this as a total hobby and just to relax.. nothing serious! :D

the 2nd and 3rd one remind me of the guy that was on tv years ago. he had a soft whispery voice and a big blonde afro.

did you do the pine trees with the putty knife like he did?

I actually know who you're talking about. Don't know his name though. I watched him many times. Always talking while working it. Saying things like.... maybe you want a little tree here..... stuff like that. Awesome artist.

His name is Bob Ross... he has passed away, but the rerun shows are still on very few and far between... he is the motivation to me starting this to begin with!!
