Have you tried pickling fruits and vegetables? Well, if you haven’t you should certainly try this. Pickling can enhance some health benefits and flavour. It is also good for your gut health as pickles contain probiotics.

If you have tried pickling, what are your favourite fruits and vegetables to make pickles?

Pickling fruits and vegetables is a great way to preserve them and add bold flavor. You just soak them in a vinegar-based brine with spices. It’s easy, fun, and gives you a tangy, probiotic-rich snack that lasts for weeks.

Pickles have probiotics and probiotics improve your gut health. Pickles also makes your food interesting. Pickling foods and including pickles in daily diet is very necessary for health and taste as well

I'm interested in pickling fruits and vegetables, something I haven't done before, because I want to extend their shelf life and improve my gut health. Hehe. I heard it can help improve their flavor as well.

Yes, I’ve tried pickling! I really enjoy making pickles with cucumbers, carrots, and mangoes. They’re crunchy, tangy, flavorful, and packed with gut-friendly probiotics.

I only pickle vegetables like spinach, cabbage, cucumber and the likes. I don't pickle fruits because it kinda distorts the taste for me. But yeah, pickling is a very good technique as it extends the shelf life of foods as well as increases the nutritional contents.
