Photoshop

Use gimp, it is legally free. I use photoshop on a daily basis, and Gimp does, almost all the same things photoshop does, just use GIMP.... don't mess around with cracks, or keygens

Don't say GIMP is as good as Photoshop, because it isn't.

I have had both, and I prefer Photoshop. It's much easier to understand, and has tons of more tools and options you can do. I'm not very good with Photoshop myself, but I find it enjoyable.

If you NEED Photoshop there's no "LEGAL" way of getting it free.

If you just need a great graphic editing program and doesn't need to be Adobe, then try GIMP. It's free.

I like IrfanView, mainly because I don't do a whole lot but edit the contrast and colours

Otherwise photoshop is good.. there is also another one but I can't remember the name
