What night shot are you expecting?

One like #4 pic with a bit clearer building structure, better shadowing of the lights and not a yellowish colored, too bright stairs due to an increased ISO. As those stair shots are night shots eh :p It came out looking like a day shot :(

but how can one see the difference in the pics if it's the motion blur from a camera or not ? Sorry, am dumb :p
Stationary lights do not move hence they are unable to blur on their own. ;) Something has to move and that would be the camera.

An example of acceptable motion blur would be something like these.... Link: http://www.google.ca/search?q=motion+blur+photos&hl=en&client=firefox-a&hs=vTb&rls=org.mozilla:en-USfficial&prmd=imvns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=g-rzToCRD6qPigL_77WtDg&ved=0CCUQsAQ&biw=1920&bih=889

Another example would be the one Tuffy took and posted a year or so ago. It was of a highway and a bunch of moving cars. That was a great photo and I think he should post it again as an example.

If you want to know how to do it here's a quick read.... Link: http://www.digital-photography-school.com/how-to-capture-motion-blur-in-photography
