I was skulking around in the yard this evening trying to get the perfect picture for Ians next contest. None of these were my assigned topic but thought they were worth sharing. As always, feel free to critique my noob photo skills.:D

Yes Guy, it's hard to catch them in flight.

You kinda did it the easy way cuz you were so far away. Get closer next time will ya.

Just kidding .... sorta... good job.

Lower your ISO to 100 so you get rid of some of the " noise " and then take the shot at 1/60 sec. If that's still to fast drop the shutter speed down one notch at a time. You'll end up with a nice clear & clean shot worth cropping.

We just have a simple point and shoot Kodak Z710.
There is access to some controls but it aint no DSLR.
I just found the manual control mode and it does have adjustable shutter and ISO.
I'll give it another shot tomorrow.:thumbup

:thumbup You should be able to set the shutter speed as well and that's what I'm talking about. It's to option that will do you the most good when shooting a moon. Make damn sure you set the camera on the tripod or you're pretty much wasting your time.
