Perspective on a gift plz?

So, I see my boyfriend soon. His birthday is a couple weeks after we visit, so I want to get him his present when I go. He loves the Habs and loves music so I wanted to get him these:

He already has headphones, though, so is this stupid? Would a guy be prone to thinking this is a waste?
I'm sure he won't care much either way over the blowjays he will get along with the cupcakes I plan to make but yanno...:24:

Just wondering. I think he'd like them, but I'm on the fence since I'm a girl and we buy stupid novelty things I guess lol.
Oh and he does wear headphones like this, so the style wouldn't be the problem.
