people throughout history

KEEP THE FAITH
2 2 2 2 1
who would you like to meet out of all the famous people throughout history.....and what would you say to them

jesus......just to see what made him who he was

hitler........one question......why?

buddy holly......dont board that plane......get on the bus

john lennon.......i'd tell him to stay in bed

mohammed.....i'd tell him what hes doing is going to cause most of the worlds ills......reword the koran

ghandi.......just to meet a great man

Ghandi - No explanation really needed, I think anyone would be the better off for meeting him
Charles II - Reckon he'd be a great guy to knock a few pints back with
Brendan Beehan - Same reason as above and to hear his stories and wit
Winston Churchill - Very passionate man who won through in the end despite getting things before horrendously wrong
Eamon de Valera - Would love to hear his stories of the struggles and really see what made him the man he was

Oh and seeing them all together would be something too, can only imagine the rows that Ghandi and Churchill would have!:D

Guess all in all I'd be more interested in hearing what they have to say than what I would say to them. We can all learn a lot more I think by being slower to spout off about something and quicker about listening.

Ghandi obviously
Anne Boleyn - after reading "The Other Boleyn Girl"
Kurt Cobain - like any other teenager tbh
Salvador Dali - because he was a nutter
Cleopatra - to ask for advice on eyeliner haha
Marilyn Manson's mum - don't thinks she's dead but what did she do to him?!
Any survivor of the holocaust who was willing to tell their story

Adam - Why did you choose to act on your own when you had it all?

Eve - Why didn't you stop and think? Why did you act so impulsively?

Cain - Why didn't you control your anger?

Noah - How were you able to be so obedient?

Lot - Why were you so selfish; always thinking of yourself?

King Melchizedek - What was it like to meet Abraham, a Jew, one of a different culture than you, and realize that you both knew the same God? How amazing was that? What revelations did you speak of with each other? Where did you go? Did you keep in touch with Abraham after that initial meeting?

Abraham - How were you able to remain so humble as the founder of the Jewish nation?

Jacob: Why didn't you realize that security does not lie in the accumulation of goods?

Labran: If you finally learned your lesson, today's world could learn a lot from your testimony. If you could tell it, would you? Would you tell people that living a life stamped with self-centerness is not the way to go? Would you tell them that the subconscious tendency to control people and benefit from it or treating people good because of thinly covered self-centered motives is not how we should live? Would you tell people that even though recognizing our own selfishness is painful that it needs to be done so that we can truly love ourselves and others?

Joesph - How did you know at such a young age of what you were called to do? How did you become so spiritually sensitive?

Potiphar - How could you have been so blind? Why did you believe the lies of your faithless wife over the character of Joesph? How could you be such a poor judge of character?

. . . . . . I'll add more later . . . . .

Ghandi obviously
Anne Boleyn - after reading "The Other Boleyn Girl"
Kurt Cobain - like any other teenager tbh
Salvador Dali - because he was a nutter

Judah (Jacob's 4th son) - Since you were such a great leader will you please teach leaders of today to admit their mistakes and not wait until their errors force them into admitting their mistakes? Would you be willing to hold a leadership seminar and teach them how to openly admit their mistakes, shoulder the blame, seek forgiveness, learn from their mistake, and correct them?

Moses - Through the many years God worked through you, he molded you and taught you how to react properly. Can you please tell me how to go from reacting emotionally (getting caught up in our own flesh) to responding with sincere purpose that is in obedience to God? I read about how that process was changed and matured in your life. Can you tell me how I can speed that process along? I really feel that I am the process getting down, but am sure you have the key to unlocking that final box for me.

Caleb - You are just awesome. Will you please explain why it is so important to not to base decisions on what everyone else is doing? Teach everyone to have the same boldness that you did in not going with the majority and for having the courage and faith to be effective by combining your words and your actions.
